Miss Melissa KastelicMiss. Melissa started her dance training here in Edmonton at the age of 5. As a former member of the University of Alberta Dance team, Miss Melissa had the experience of performing at various sporting and promotional events while taking her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Her love and commitment to dance led her to her first dance teaching position over ten years ago. Miss. Melissa has taught both recreational and competitive classes that have performed throughout Alberta. In 2006 after completing the three year teacher’s training course with the A.D.A.P.T. dance syllabus under the direction of the legendary Brian and Faye Foley, Miss. Melissa went on to start her own dance program with her sister Miss. Sheri.
Miss Melissa is currently completing part time studies at the University of Alberta towards her Masters in Nursing. When not teaching dance, Miss Melissa enjoys her job as a guest lecturer and laboratory nursing instructor with the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Alberta.

Miss. Melissa aspires to always instill confidence, creativity and the love of dance in all her students. She truly believes in the positive changes that education in the arts can have on a child’s life. She feels honored to have the opportunity to lead such a wonderful staff in the proliferation of the arts through providing education in children’s dance.
