Adult Programs

The Adult program is designed for adults wanting to dance for fun and exercise. These students are able to register in as many classes as they like per week including ballet/yoga, hip hop, tap, modern, jazz, dance fitness and Zumba. With the exception of hip hop and jazz, these classes do not perform in the annual recital in June. Our Adult classes have been enjoyed by adults of all ages from 18 - 70 years old!!

Hip Hop Competitive
Full of funky music and choreography. Our Adult Hip Hop class will take part in 2 - 3 dance festivals in and around the Edmonton area. This class also participates in our annual recital in June. *This class is offered as a 10 month session (Sep - June).

Advanced Jazz Competitive
A Jazz class for the experience and advanced adult jazz dancer. This class will focus on strength, flexibility and advanced jazz technique. Our Adult Advanced Jazz class will take part in 2 - 3 dance festivals in and around the Edmonton area, as well as participate in our annual recital in June. *This class is offered as a 10 month session (Sep-June).

12 WEEK SESSION CLASSES
The following classes are offered as Fall (Sep - Nov) and Winter (Jan - Mar) 12 week sessions. Tuition discounts are available when enrolling in more than 1 class per week.

Ballet/Yoga
This class focuses on the use of both Ballet technique and yoga exercises to help develop strength, flexibility and posture.

Tap
Rhythmic patterns and timely beats are explored with the use of tap shoes. Based on the ADAPT dance syllabus. Some tap experience (present or past) is helpful, but not required.

Modern
This class explores contemporary modern technique. Students will experience a contemporary warm-up, strengthening exercises and modern choreography. Drawing on Simonson Modern technique.

Dance Fitness
This class is sure to get you moving! A mix of cardio, stretching, strengthening, yoga and pilates movements. Suitable for all fitness levels.

ZUMBA!!
Let our certified ZUMBA instructor get you moving to Latin, Bollywood, hip hop and more!! Appropriate for all fitness levels.
