Emma HughesB.A. (in progress)
MOD Contemporary Dancers (member)

Miss. Emma began dancing at the age of three at Hinton School of Dance in her hometown Hinton, Alberta. There she trained in ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, contemporary and lyrical while completing several Cecchetti ballet exams. Having the opportunity to student teach beginner hip-hop in Hinton for two years is where her love of instructing dance began. She moved to Edmonton in 2015 to attend the University of Alberta pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. This is Miss. Emma’s third year at the university and also her third year being a part of MOD Contemporary Dance Movement, a student-run, student-led advanced contemporary dance company at the university. It has allowed her to grow artistically and creatively as a dancer having the chance to dance alongside a great group of supportive dancers. She is extremely happy to be a part of the Flexpointe Team this year and is grateful to have the opportunity to teach dance at such an amazing studio!
