Miss Kate began her training in dance at the age of 10 in a variety of styles including, ballet, jazz, acro, lyrical, and contemporary/modern at Flexpointe Studios. Throughout her time at Flexpointe, she volunteered as a class assistant for numerous years which cultivated her passion to teach dance. She has trained in the advanced syllabi of ADAPT and RAD and has also completed multiple exams in ballet and jazz.
Miss Kate is currently in her third year at the University of Alberta in the Nutrition and Food Science Program. She is also a member of MOD contemporary dance movement, a student-led, student-run dance company at the University of Alberta, which allows her to explore her creativity, choreograph and cultivate her passion for dance. Currently, Miss Kate is in the process of completing the 3 year ADAPT Teaching Training Certificate in jazz and tap.
Miss Kate is thankful for the dance community, and family Flexpointe studios has provided for her throughout her life and the opportunity to teach at a creative and dedicated establishment.
